UI HOSTS THE INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE

Plans are already concluded for the University of Ibadan to host the Inspector General of Police, Dr Olukayode A. Egbetokun, NPM, fspsp.

He is expected to deliver the First Personality Lecture of the Tetfund Centre of Excellence in Multidisciplinary Studies of the University of Ibadan on Monday 03 June 2024 in Trenchard Hall at Noon. The lecture is titled: "The Nigeria Police Force and the Management of Internal Security".

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kayode O. Adebowale, mni, FAS is expected to be the Chief Host at the Lecture. A former Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic, Prof. A. A. B. Agbaje will be the Chairman while the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council of Lead City University, Professor Babajide Owoeye will be the Special Guest of Honour.
