THE INSTALLATION OF RAPIDMOOC SYSTEM IN THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNICATION AND LANGUAGE ARTS
Today, 30 June, 2022, the rapidmooc system (a complete self-recording studio equipment), donated by the French Embassy in Nigeria to the University of Ibadan, was successfully installed in the graphics studio of the Department of Communication and Language Arts
The installation was completed by the Head of Science and Higher Education of the French Embassy Prof. Sébastien Bede represented by the Secretary General (IFRA) Mr Martin MBELLA, Mr Femi Kuti, our senior studio Technologist and the HOD, Communication and Language Arts, Prof O. O. OYEWO. The installation was a follow- the-manual-hands-on process.
At the end of the installation, there was a slight practical demonstration of the equipment. Drs Bisi Olawuyi, Tunde Ojebuyi and Obasanjo Oyedele were part of the demonstration process.
Once again, congratulations to the University of Ibadan, the Faculty of Arts and the Department of Communication and Language Arts.
The head of Cooperation and Cultural Affairs French Embassy, Counsellor Rafael Pont remarked that “It is a very useful and versatile tool and can of course be used for language learning purposes”, he congratulates the staff of the department of CLA for their magnificent collaboration and cooperation to make this a success.
