INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS WELCOMED TO UI BY DEPUTY VICE CHANCELLOR ACADEMIC AND DEPUTY VICE CHANCELLOR RESEARCH INNOVATION AND STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS

The Welcome/Orientation Programme was organized for International Students on Tuesday 30th November, 2021 at Dr. Kole Shetima Hall, MacArthur Building, University of Ibadan. The program which was hosted by the Office of International Programmes, had in attendance 13 students from the following countries; China, Ghana, South Sudan, Algeria, Kenya, Ethiopia and Benin Republic, Nigerians on International programmes, some of their supervisors and heads of department.

The Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research Innovation and Strategic Partnership (DVC, RISP); Professor Oluyemisi A. Bamgbose, SAN officially welcomed the international students into the University of Ibadan stating that UI is known for its cutting edge values of excellence which are evident in her students both home and abroad.

Professor Aderonke Baiyeroju, the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academics, in her goodwill message, encouraged the students to effectively maximize their stay in the University of Ibadan by exploring every opportunity that is made available to them.
