THEME: SOCIETAL NEED-DRIVEN RESEARCH FOR NATIONAL
DEVELOPMENT
The University of Ibadan Research and Development Fair (UIRESDEV) was established as part of the efforts to promote the spirit of enquiry, research and discovery, and contribute to local and global development through creativity and innovation. The Exposé is an opportunity to showcase research and technological innovativeness at the University of Ibadan while establishing and/or strengthening scholarly links and fruitful collaborations within the University, Industry, Government, NGOs, Media and the populace.
Submission (Research, Books, Innovation, Prototype, Patent, Artistic Production, others (Please specify) is hereby solicited from members of Staff and Students through the Faculty UIRESDEV Fair Committee.
GUIDELINE FOR SUBMISSION
Submit a 350-500 words Abstract (Times New Romans, Font size 12, Single Spacing) structured to include the following elements:
1. Title and submission category - Research, Book, Innovation, Prototype, Patent, Artistic Production, others (Please specify).
2. Name, title, affiliations and contact details of the researcher(s) and collaborating Departments/ Faculties/Scholars
3. Full Description: Introduction/background to the study and/or problems addressed, method, results, discussion, conclusion (significant contribution to field/discipline), recommendation and/or scalability potentials of submission, end-users/prospective collaborator/stakeholders in public/private sectors & global communities.
4. Pertinent photograph/Illustration, etc should be included,where applicable (Please tag images/illustrations/exhibits, etc appropriately).
Submission and collation should be done at the level of the Faculty UIRESDEV Fair Committee.
Hard copies and soft Copies (CD/Flash drive) of COLLATED SUBMISSIONS FROM FACULTIES should reach the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Innovation and Strategic Partnerships), while E-copy should be sent to: dvcrisp@mail.ui.edu.ng, kkadeogun@gmail.com on or before Friday August 23rd, 2019.
