University of Ibadan LLM candidate, Miss Busola Fagbemi, LLB, BL, has won the Nigeria Group on Private International Law

A University of Ibadan LLM candidate, Miss Busola Fagbemi, LLB, BL, has won the Nigeria Group on Private International Law (NGPIL) 2022/2023 Conflict of Laws competition. Her winning paper was titled "A Comparative Analysis of Product Liability in the Conflict of Laws".

According to the NGPIL Panel, the research was an excellent piece of work, and very robust comprising of Nigeria common law, European Union approach, English approach, and the United States of America approach. The paper also demonstrated an understanding of conflict of law rules of product liability at a high standard.

Miss Fagbemi has expressed her profound appreciation to her lecturer, Professor J.O.A. Akintayo, for laying a very solid foundation for her in Conflict of Laws, and for his constant guidance.
