SENATE REPRESENTATIVES ON THE JOINT COUNCIL AND SENATE SELECTION BOARDFOR THE APPOINTMENT OF VICE CHANCELLOR (2020 –2025)

CALL FOR NOMINATION

Pursuant to the provisions of the relevant Act of the University, with specific reference to the appointment of Vice Chancellor, nominations are hereby invited for Senate Representatives on the Joint Council and Senate Selection Board for the appointment of the next Vice Chancellor (2020 – 2025).

Specifically, the Act provided for: “Two members of the Senate who are professors, but who were not members of the Search Team.”

Please note the following in respect of the nominations:

1. Nomination papers are available in the Office of the Deputy Registrar (Senate, Admissions and Affiliated Institutions (SAAI)) with effect from Monday, 07 September 2020.

2. Nominees are required to sign the nomination papers to indicate their willingness to serve.

3. Envelopes containing nominations should be addressed to the Registrar, University of Ibadan and must be marked “Nomination for the Joint Council and Senate Selection Board”

The envelopes should be delivered by hand to the Office of the Deputy Registrar

(Senate, Admissions and Affiliated Institutions (SAAI)) not later than 12.00 noon on Friday,

11 September, 2020.

E-voting will, thereafter, hold on Monday, 21 September, 2020 between 8.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m.
